Privacy
What we do with your data: nothing.
Not a marketing line — a description of the architecture. The generator runs entirely in your browser, so the data you encode has no path to us.
The detail
What never leaves your device
Every field in the generator — links, plain text, WiFi network names and passwords, names, phone numbers, email addresses and ABNs — is processed by JavaScript running on your own device. The QR image is drawn locally. There is no upload step, so this data is never transmitted, never logged and never stored by us.
You can verify this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and generate a code. No request is made.
What we do collect
Standard web server logs when a page is requested: IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer and user agent. These are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
Cookies and tracking
- No advertising cookies.
- No third-party tracking pixels.
- No cross-site profiling.
- One localStorage entry, theme, remembering whether you chose light or dark. It stays on your device and is readable only by this site.
Third parties
Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of any request for a font file. No other third-party service runs on these pages.
Where the site runs
The site is served from an Australian edge location. Because generation is local to your browser, the content of your QR codes does not cross a border in either direction.
Your rights
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You may ask what we hold about you and request correction or deletion by emailing [email protected]. Unresolved complaints can be taken to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the revised version is published here. Last updated 19 September 2026.
